Magnificent suites include the JFK Suite, with the actual bed made for JF Kennedy's visit in 1962, while the Turing Suite pays homage to the brilliant mathematician responsible for breaking the Enigma code during World War II, born here in 1912. Built as two private homes in 1865, the Colonnade now offers the very best in luxury combined with the intimacy of staying in a private home.
Rooms: Many of the 43 individually designed rooms have terraces and four poster beds. All rooms provide the latest in modern facilities, including satellite TV, CD player and modem point, as well as special extras, such as luxurious toiletries and complimentary fresh fruit. The Colonnade was awarded “Best Hotel of the Year” under 50 bedrooms, by the London Tourist Board in 2000.
